内容简介
  写书的过程是艰苦的,尤其是编写一本覆盖面如此之广的教材,虽然笔者从事网络研究多年,但是对某些新兴的研究领域也并不十分熟悉,需要从头查阅资料,阅读文献。虽然花费了大量的时间和精力,但是如果此书真的能够对我国研究生网络教学和科研工作起到一些推动作用,那么这些付出无疑是非常值得的。
徐恪:男,1974年生,2001年获清华大学工学博士学位并留校任教。现任清华大学计算机系助理研究员。负责并参与了多项“国家自然科学基金”项目和“国家高技术研究和发展计划”重大项目,目前的主要研究领域包括:新一代计算机网络体系结构、高性能路由器技术、网络拥塞控制和网络服务质量控制。已经在国内外学术刊物和学术会议上发表了60多篇学术论文,并为清华大学计算机研究生开设了“计算机网络前沿研究”课程。
本书全面介绍了计算机网络研究领域中主要的理论和实践问题。全书共分为3大部分。第1部分是计算机网络体系结构的发展;第2部分是Internet的路由、拥塞控制和管理;第3部分是高性能路由器体系结构与关键技术。本书内容全面深入,包括了计算机网络研究的主要领域,内容涉及网络体系结构、协议机制、算法设计和路由器技术等多个方面。全书基本上反映了近几年来网络领域的最新研究成果并提供了详尽的参考文献。在介绍最新的研究成果的同时,每一章的最后都指出进一步的研究方向供读者参考。
