内容简介
本书是供高等院校法学院学生联系我国的民主法制建设学习邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想的一本教材，也可供一般的党政干部、政法工作人员学习邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想参考。随着我国民主法制建设的不断加强，对邓小平民主法制理论的学习和研究也不断发展，不断深入，邓小平民主法制理论对于法学专业学生的重要性日益显现出来。只有认真学习邓小平民主法制理论和“三个代表”重要思想，才能树立正确的人生观、法律观，树立正确的社会主义法治理念，才能使个人成才与国家社会主义民主法制建设的需要结合起来。为了帮助高等院校法学专业学生学习邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想，我们将多年教学和研究的体会撰写成书，奉献给法学专业的青年学子们。全书从马列主义理论的历史发展、民主政治、依法治国、人权建设、经济建设、文化建设、党的领导、“一国两制”理论和实践等方面研究了邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想与我国民主、法制建设的关系。邓小平民主法制理论、“三个代表”重要思想是以我国社会主义初级阶段的经济、政治、文化为内容的伟大的建国、治国理论，我们通过对其认真的学习和研究，紧密联系我国经济建设和改革开放的实际，针对理论思想界普遍关注的热点问题提出了我们最新的研究成果，这也可以说是本书的理论特色。本书还通过对党的第十六次全国代表大会报告和党的十六届三中全会《关于完善社会主义市场经济体制若干问题的决定》的学习和研究，着重研究了“三个代表”重要思想对邓小平民主法制理论的进一步丰富和发展。在撰写本书的过程中，我们深感这是一次重新学习和理解博大精深的邓小平理论的过程。随着我国社会主义初级阶段民主、法制建设的不断发展和完善，必然还会有更多的理论和实践问题涌现出来需要我们去研究。我们将以本书为新的开始，与同学们和法学界的同仁共勉。限于理论水平和时间的仓促，本书尚有许多不够完善、甚至错误之处，敬请读者批评指正。参加本书撰稿的人员有:中国人民大学法学院孙国华教授（导言）、吕世伦教授、李瑞强博士（第一、二章）、谷春德教授（第三、四章）、杨晓青副教授（第五、九章）、朱力宇教授（第六、八章）、曹磊副教授（第七、十章）。全书由主编孙国华教授完成统稿。
